Dreadnought in Portsmouth Harbour

Frank Wood had a great affection for painting ships of the Dreadnought-class and this is an excellent example. Majestic and sitting at anchor, with Portsmouth in the background along with a a "wooden-wall" Dreadnought astern - this is a lovely restful view of a historic class of warship. Beautiful. 63x40cm.  Cleaned and reframed.

                                                                   £2,250
